We are back on Saturday 30th May from 2-5pm (last repair at 4.30pm) at St Francis of Assisi Petts Wood Church hall. If you have been gardening over the BH weekend and your tools need sharpening, lawn mower or strimmers are not working then bring them along. Our sewers can repair any torn clothes (no zips) and we can look most electrical items and clocks! Arrive early for clocks as our 'clock volunteer' is in demand! Our team of bakersa

We are 3 years old on Saturday! Come along and help us celebrate our birthday! We are open on Saturday 25th April from 2-5pm (last repair seen at 4.30pm) at St Francis Church Hall. With the sun shining the grass is growing fast so get those garden tools sharpened and lawn mowers and strimmers working! Favourite summer dress or short lost a button/got a tear, our sewing ladies are ready with their needles and sewing machines. Garden furniture broken then we can fix it! Nothing to repair, don't worry come along for a slice of homemade cake and cuppa! See you there.

We are back this Saturday 28th March St Francis of Assisi Petts Wood Church Hall from 2-5pm (last repair seen at 4.30pm). The sun is shining, the grass is growing so get your garden tools sharpened, make sure your lawn mowers and strimmers are working and ensure your bikes are ready to go! Plus we can look at most electrical items, (no microwave ovens) make sure your Spring wardrobe is looking ship shape with sewing and darning and any furniture is fit for use! If you have a clock, make sure you arrive early so we have time to repair it and/or give you advice. And of course our bakers are working hard to create some fabulous cakes for you to enjoy with a cup of tea and coffee. See you there!

We are back on Saturday 28th February at St Francis Church Hall from 2-5pm (last repair seen at 4.30pm). Spring is just around the corner (promise!!) so make sure your garden tools are working (we have a great success rate on lawn mowers), and we can sharpen your tools. We also offer a knife sharpening service. Our sewing ladies are ready too, for all clothing, fabric, toy repairs (no zips though these are too difficult). If you have a clock, please come at 2pm so we are more likely to have time to repair it or advise. And finally our team of bakers are working hard to create some amazing home bakes for you all. We are back in full force for our first repair cafe of 2026🎉. Doors open at 2pm on Saturday 31st January and the last repair will be seen at 4.30pm. We are at St Francis of Assisi Petts Wood Church Hall on Greenwood Rd. We can look at most electrical items (no microwaves or flat screen TVs though), sharpen knives and garden tools and sewing (but no zips!). Our baking team are working hard this week to bake our fabulous cakes which I know many of you come for! Looking forward to seeing you there!

What a fabulous last repair cafe for 2025. We made lots of people very happy with the warm welcome they received, items repaired, tea and cake consumed! Thank you to all our volunteers, from front of house, our repairers, bakers, and tea stand helpers and of course everyone of our visitors who have saved 249 items from going to refill by visiting the cafe. We are taking a well-earned break in December...back Saturday 31st January 2026! Have a wonderful festive season everyone!

We are back this Saturday with our final repair cafe of 2025! Christmas lights and musical decorations not working? Knives needing to be sharpened? Christmas jumpers need darning? Our volunteer repairers are ready to fix them for you. And if you just want a lovely homemade cake with a cuppa, in a welcoming place then pop along. We are in St Francis Church Hall from 2-5pm (last repair at 4.30pm). See you there!

After our summer break we are back this Saturday 27th September from 2-5pm (last repair seen at 4.30pm) at St Francis Church Hall. So bring your electrical items, furniture, sewing, items to be sharpened and our team of volunteers will do their best to get them in ship shape once again! Unfortunately we can't look at clocks this month as our volunteer is away. And our team of bakers will be baking this week so do pop in for a cuppa and slice of cake even if you don't have anything to repair! See you there!

S Dark, can you message us! We repaired your Shark vacuum cleaner and our volunteer repairer has now found the screws required to ensure your vacuum keeps functioning for as long as possible! And to everyone else, we had a fabulous cafe on Saturday, lovely to see lots of new people and undertake 44 repairs, with a 73% success rate! We are taking a break in August, and will be back on Saturday 27th September. Have a great summer everyone!

Hey we are back for our final repair cafe at St Francis of Assisi Petts Wood church hall from 2-5pm before we break for the summer holidays! So its your last chance to get all your garden electricals in tip top condition, your tools sharpened and bikes ready! And our sewing ladies are ready to repair clothes/backpacks. And of course we will look at clocks, lamps, hoovers and childrens toys and anything else you have so come along even just to see what's going on. And our bakers are busy baking their fabulous cakes...so join us for a cuppa and THE best cakes in Petts Wood. Last repair 4.30pm
