SEND Parent Carers Wandsworth We are SEND Parent Carers in Wandsworth, your local Parent Carer Forum. We are the only recognised, statutory body to fulfil this role.

Run by, and for, Parent Carers of children or young people (0-25 years of age) in Wandsworth with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), with or without a formal diagnosis We are an independent network of parents and carers of children with special needs and disabilities in Wandsworth borough . Our forum is a prerequisite for local authorities nationwide to ensure that they are respons

ive to the needs of the local SEND community. What we do

We gather parent/carer voice and aspirations, we conduct market research and focus groups to get their feedback. Parents can engage via Facebook and email to keep up to date with current SEND policy development, interesting articles, to connect with other parents and carers and to obtain tips, information and links to other relevant organisations. How you can help

Join us and respond to surveys and come to focus groups. Tell us what your kids want and need. Let us know what help you need for you and your family. At the same time receive a calendar of events and information and tips. Email: [email protected]

Summer Break: We will be taking a break over the summer, but please note that many of Wandsworth Council’s services and local charities are still available to contact during the summer holidays (e.g. WIASS and SEND Allkind). Also the national charity, Contact has a helpline and lots of information on their website.
