Have you been unable to access your social care records?

We know how difficult and frustrating that can be. Not having answers, missing pieces of your story, or feeling like something important is out of reach can stay with you.

We’re holding a supportive Zoom session on Thursday 14th May, 7:30–9:00pm for care leavers who haven’t been able to access their records.

This space is about:
💬 Sharing experiences
🤍 Talking through the impact
🌱 Exploring ways others have found a sense of closure

Please note:
This session is not about challenging or appealing decisions around access to records. Instead, it’s a safe space to connect with others who understand and to reflect on ways of moving forward.

You don’t have to have the “right words” or a clear story, just come as you are.

We were delighted to join The Vavengers this week for their Pro Bono Legal Clinic, delivered in partnership with and - an energising space bringing together powerful voices from across sectors.

💜A huge thank you to The Vavengers team for the invitation, and for creating a space rooted in empowerment, knowledge-sharing, and action.

From insightful panels to practical one-to-one support, this was more than an event - it was a reflection of what’s possible when expertise is shared openly and with intention.

At Foster Greatness UK, the partnerships we are building now are not by chance. They are built on shared values, aligned purpose, and a genuine commitment to collaborate.

💙 An inspiring reminder of what meaningful mentoring can achieve

We were honoured to attend Stronger Together: The Impact of Mentoring, hosted by SAYes Mentoring, and to see first-hand the incredible impact they are having for care-experienced young people.

Hearing directly from young people about their experiences as mentees was powerful and emotional — a true reflection of what happens when the right support, guidance and belief is in place.

It was a privilege for our Director of Social Impact, Chris Wild, alongside the wider Foster Greatness UK team to be part of such an important event.

We’re proud to see our Director of Social Impact, Chris Wild, speaking on the Big Issue Changemakers Panel at - sharing insight that is helping to challenge perspectives and shift thinking within journalism.
