Grafton caught blatantly cub hunting by a member of the public.

This footage was taken on Tuesday morning (6/10/26) by a passer by, just outside Farthingstone, Northants.

You can clearly see the riders holding up the covert in true cubbing fashion, while the huntsmans horn can be heard encouraging the hounds.

This is yet further proof that "trail hunting" is a fabrication, existing in name only. The Grafton were sending dogs in to that wood to tear apart defenceless animals, foxes in this case. This is what we work to stop.

For those not familiar with cub hunting, here is an explanation from the League Against Cruel Sports:

Warning: understandably strong language can be heard in the video.

That look they give when we turn up.

Huntsman Tom Hopkins, lead villain of organised crime group the Essex & Suffolk Hunt, was not pleased to see our members arrive early on Saturday morning, as it meant he could not hunt.

This is how we stop a hunt - stand in front of them, directly confront them and when they send their thugs in to assault us, have the strength in numbers to move them out of the way.

Good.

If you would like to keep this expression on Mr Hopkins face, feel free to make a donation to our fuel fund.

Hit Report 207
03/10/2026
Essex & Suffolk Hunt
Hadleigh, Suffolk.

Cycling sab, air support, foot teams and road support all came together to paralyse another hunt.

Last Saturday, we were back in Suffolk, this time to visit huntsman Tom Hopkins of the Essex & Suffolk.

We met the hunt as they were leaving the meet at Overbury Hall. Stuck with them for the one hour and twenty minutes they were out, bar around two minutes, where they were able to make strategic use of a hedgerow, but our foot teams soon caught up.

It is often a boast to say no foxes were killed. We did not even give Hopkins the chance to cast his hounds. Despite the field riders dutifully assuming their positions at several coverts, in true cubbing fashion.

Another hit where the hard work behind the scenes has paid off. Another 3-0 victory for us. Another boring hit report. Sorry about that.

No wildlife killed. The end.

Please help us stay in the field against those who time, and the law, forgot. Thank you.

They have been out for less than an hour and a half, and we were with them the whole time.

No kills, full report to follow.

Hit Report 206
26/09/2026
Thurlow Hunt
Weston Green, Suffolk.

Last Saturday, 06.30am, and the ever-prepared NLHS already had four teams strategically placed around the area of the hunt meet, Gover’s Grove, Temple End. We had eyes on the hunt from all angles.

The hunt headed south at 06.35, immediately holding up a wood - hunt and hounds were entered into the covert by Huntsman Guy Allman. We quickly set about disrupting proceedings, prompting Allman to move on. Initiating a pincer movement, our teams moved in and stuck with the hunt throughout as they moved into New Plantation where the hounds went into cry. Several hounds were heard yelping in distress as they were cast into dense brambles becoming entangled whilst the huntsman made ‘burring’ vocalisations with the intention of disturbing and exposing hiding foxes. Our teams helped two foxes escape the hounds.

The hunt then headed to North Wood, south past Littley Wood and westerly toward Howe Hood. The hunt stopped at Over Wood where the hounds were collected up, before heading back to the meet at Gover’s Grove where they packed at 9am and left, supervised by us.

The video shows the way we believe in stopping a hunt. Getting in there and directly confronting those attempting to hunt. Not standing three fields away pointing a camera and calling it hunt sabotage. Confront them, stop them.

Two foxes seen by Sabs got to live their lives, and Sabs brushed off some pathetic verbal abuse, whilst the hunt got to live some disappointment.
Job done.

Last Wednesday at Gosbeck, Suffolk, our cycling sab kept the Essex & Suffolk Hunt company. After killing a fox at Tendring, Essex, last week, Hopkins looked to us like he had his tail between his legs. We heard him blow his horn just once — a nervous, half-hearted attempt to our ears.

A beautiful Suffolk morning spoiled by these sad scenes. Hopkins, a small pack of ill treated hounds and 8 sad followers was all this hunt could muster. Thankfully, no wildlife was seen to be killed.

Yesterday, we attended a fringe event organised by The New Hunting Ban. Neil Duncan-Jordan MP and Rhys Giles, Director of The New Hunting Ban, held a Q&A session near The Labour Party Conference, in Liverpool. We were also pleased to welcome the League Against Cruel Sports

The event was well attended, different views were compared, thrashed out and good ground was covered.

The anti hunting organisations that work together and with the public, are the organisations that will stop hunting.

We are currently with The New Hunting Ban in Liverpool at the The Labour Party Conference 2026.

We have been engaging with members of the public, media and attendees to raise awareness of hunt sabotage and the need to strengthen the Hunting Act.

The New Hunting Ban fringe event with Neil Duncan-Jordan MP will be starting shortly.

It's a Saturday morning in September, which can only mean one thing - a hunt is being disrupted by a bunch of nosey animal rights activists from London!

Our team are currently upsetting the Thurlow Hunt, an organised wildlife crime group twice convicted of illegal fox hunting.

We will be with them until they pack up and disappear.

Report to follow.

Neil Duncan-Jordan MP has been instrumental in securing political support for our lobby group The New Hunting Ban.

It's Time to Stop Fox Hunting

I’ve listened to the experts and published a gold-standard Bill to finish the work of the Hunting Act and finally stop fox hunting for good.

I wrote to the Minister yesterday offering the chance to adopt my Bill as Government policy.

The Labour Government is coming under attack for its promise to stop fox hunting, so let’s myth bust some claims from the hunt lobby!

🦊 "This is a law against people following a scented trail" - time and again, hunt monitors have discovered hunts using “trail hunting” as a smokescreen for killing wildlife. If hunts really only ever followed a scented trail, nobody would have a problem with it and saboteurs wouldn’t spend their weekends saving foxes.

🌳 “This is an attack on rural communities” - it’s rural communities that have their lives disrupted by hunt havoc. That’s why polling shows rural communities support stopping hunting for good.

The evidence is clear, the public are ready, and my Bill gives the Government a route to finally stop fox hunting.
