We’re delighted to share that Home‑Start Bromley has had a truly successful campaign as part of the ITV 1 Million Minutes initiative — and thanks to the incredible support from our community, Home-Start UK, we’ve recruited some fantastic new volunteers who are ready to make a real difference to local families.

We’re so excited to share that Home-Start Bromley has moved into our new offices!
Our new space has been thoughtfully created to better support local families — including dedicated therapeutic rooms and welcoming areas for family group work. It’s a place where people can feel safe, supported, and connected.
This move marks an important step forward in how we deliver support, giving us the environment to offer even more meaningful help to families when they need it most.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey — we couldn’t have done it without you 🙌

At Home-Start Bromley, we believe every mum deserves support that truly sees her.

That’s why we run Sisterhood Circles—a therapeutic group supporting the mental health and wellbeing of Black mums in our community.

Motherhood can be joyful, but also deeply isolating. Sisterhood Circles offers a safe space to:
🫶🏽 Connect with other mums
💬 Talk honestly about life and motherhood
✨ Learn tools to cope with stress
🤱 Feel seen as a person, not just a parent

This isn’t just a group—it’s a space for healing, empowerment, and real sisterhood.

This Mother’s Day, we’re sharing a few free self-care ideas to help you press pause and recharge.

Because taking care of yourself isn’t a luxury — it’s essential. 💛

Here are five ways to take a breath today (and every day):
🫖 Make a hot drink and enjoy it start to finish — no interruptions allowed
🌿 Take a walk and notice five things you can see, hear or smell
📞 Call someone who lifts your spirits
📖 Read or listen to something just for fun (even 10 minutes counts)
🛁 Say no to something and yes to rest — guilt-free
