Guinea government has a brand new department. The Ministry of Women, Family, and Solidarities.

Our head of communication met the new Minister Patricia Lamah. It was a fruitful meeting where he introduced FraternitéUK and offered to work together towards ending Female Ge****ls Mutilations. Guinea is still the second country with the highest prevalence behind Somalia.

Not only FGM, other issues such as domestic violence, and safeguarding children are also areas to join forces against.

The Minister was very welcoming, and the will is there to establish a strong partnership.

Housing has been a major issue in the UK for decades.
Tenants leaseholders still face damp,mould,poor repairs,and unsafe homes.
Yesterday, thousands marched from Soho Sqaure to Downing Street in one of the biggest National Housinfg demo in Cdntral London.
Our chair lady joined p eople from different Borugh, demanding safe and decent homes for all.
