Working towards a just society free of illiteracy and poverty, our partner SHIFSD is creating opportunities for lasting change in Liberia. 📚🇱🇷

SHIFSD believes in the transformative power of adult literacy and entrepreneurship to address the challenges faced by local communities.

At SHE, we’re proud to support locally-led organisations like SHIFSD who equips people with knowledge, skills and opportunities as they build more secure and independent futures.

🗣️ Everyone deserves access to the basic fundamentals of life.

Education, healthcare, economic opportunities and resources needed to thrive should not be out of reach. Yet for many women and girls around the world, barriers remain.

At SHE, we work alongside local partners to ensure these rights for women and girls.

🌟 By supporting SHE, you help create pathways for women and girls to build sustainable livelihoods, support their families and shape their own futures.

At SHE, we believe in igniting the futures of aspiring women entrepreneurs, supporting them to build financial independence, strengthen their communities from within and create lasting change. 🤝

But without a healthy environment, sustainable livelihoods are not possible.

Climate change often affect underserved communities first and hardest. From failed harvests to health risks, the impacts are deeply interconnected with poverty and inequality.

Protecting our planet becomes part of protecting futures too. We must thrive together with our planet. 🌍

This , we’re celebrating the power of bicycles to transform lives. 🚲

Bicycles provide more than just transportation, improving access to education, healthcare and opportunity, particularly for women and girls living in underserved communities.

In Uganda, SHE’s partner FABIO champions inclusive transportation and advocates for bicycles as tools for empowerment and sustainable development. 💜

They help healthcare workers reach rural communities more easily and enable children to attend schools that are far away. For many students, access to bicycles can mean the difference between staying in education and dropping out.

FABIO’s work reminds us that simple, sustainable solutions can create lasting impact. 🌟

✊ This , we’re championing confidence, dignity and equal access for women and girls everywhere.

In Uganda, our partner COFCAWE developed the ‘SafePads’ initiative after identifying period poverty as a major factor affecting girls’ school attendance. For many rural families, menstrual products are too expensive, leaving girls to use unreliable alternatives or skip school.

‘SafePads’ are reusable menstrual products that also create sustainable pathways towards financial independence through skills training and income generation. Women and girls are trained to make them themselves, turning an urgent social need into community-led change.

By breaking stigma and ensuring a safe, affordable way to manage their periods, COFCAWE is uplifting women and girls with opportunities to learn, work and thrive. 💜

❌ Women don’t need to be empowered.

At SHE, we believe women are already innovators and leaders within their communities.

Our role isn’t to give them power, but to support women with access to opportunities, education and resources that help unlock the potential waiting to come out.

Lasting change is possible—but only when women are trusted to shape their own futures. 💪
