The Questors Youth Theatre

The Questors Youth Theatre Founded in 1954 at The Questors Theatre, Ealing. QYT provides drama classes for students age 5-18

QYT is a fantastic Youth Theatre which is part of The Questors Theatre in Ealing and offers weekly drama classes for Years 1-13 (ages 5-18). What you'll do in classes depends on your age but can include:

Drama Games, Improvisation, Storytelling, Group Work, Devising Scenes, Trust Exercises, Character Development, Voice Work and Performance Skills. Every year each QYT class gets a chance to put on

a performance in one of our theatres in front of an audience and we also stage a QYT production which you can audition to be in. We're very popular, so you'll probably have to wait until a place is available for you. Complete the Enrolment Form on our website to get your name on our waiting list for a place.

Congratulations are in order for Adam Carvell, our new Cultural Education Partnership Coordinator!

Adam has been a Questors member since 2018, and has been on the stage management team for a number of our shows. You may recognise him as one of the tutors for QYT, or from one of the regular holiday workshops he has run for us! Some of our QYT members and teachers will be watching The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time on Tues, Weds and Thurs next week, taking advantage of the free personal ticket all QYT members are entitled to for each of our in-house productions (excluding the pantomime).

Get your creative juices flowing this half term with our Play in 4 Days workshop!

Explore what it means to connect and create three dimensional characters using improvisation, movement, and voice. Using props and costume as a starting point, via games, group activities and individual acting challenges, work together as an ensemble to create an entirely new play based on your ideas for characters and stories.
