The Windrush Arrival
We’re honoured to share the stories of the Windrush Generation through our Journey and Arrival programme, launched in May 2026. Over the past three months, we’ve met incredible individuals across South London who travelled from the Caribbean to the UK between 1948 and the 1960s, helping to rebuild the country after WWII.

With moving interviews and beautiful performances from our dementia-friendly dance companies, we’ve created a heartfelt film that brings these stories to life. Join us on 7 August 2026 for the film’s release—let’s celebrate, learn, and remember together. Please watch and share! https://youtu.be/t8r5iX0GYEk
