About New Nurse Empowerment Initiative CIC

New Nurse Empowerment Initiative CIC is a platform dedicated to supporting, encouraging, and empowering student nurses and newly qualified nurses as they transition into professional practice.

The journey from student nurse to registered nurse can be exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. Many new nurses quickly realise that there are important lessons about the profession that are not always fully covered in nursing school.

This initiative was created to provide guidance, share real experiences, and create a supportive community where nurses can learn, grow, and feel empowered in their careers.

The initiative is also connected to the book:

“No One Told Me This in Nursing School: Real Lessons from Student to New Nurse – What They Don’t Teach Us in Class.”

Written from real experiences and reflections, the book highlights practical lessons, challenges, and insights that help prepare nurses for the realities of the profession.
