🐾 Meet Ronnie — our gentle giant looking for his forever home! 🐾

Say hello to Ronnie, a handsome 4-year-old greyhound with a love for making friends and an even bigger heart! 💚

Ronnie is a gentle, friendly boy who absolutely loves meeting other greyhounds and enjoys having plenty of canine friends around him. He has a lovely temperament and is happiest when he’s getting fuss, companionship and plenty of attention. 🥰

🐿️ Now, Ronnie does have one little quirk… if he spots a small, fluffy creature like a squirrel, his excitement can get the better of him! He can be a little strong on the lead when he sees something he’d like to investigate.

Because of this, Ronnie is looking for a home with someone who is confident and physically able to walk a larger dog and who can help him manage those exciting moments out on walks.

Once the squirrels are out of sight, you’ll see the gentle giant underneath — a lovely boy who just wants to enjoy life, make friends and be part of a family. 🐾💚

🐾 Meet Daisy — a cheeky girl looking for her forever home! 🐾

Beautiful 2-year-old Daisy has recently retired from racing and is now ready to swap the track for cosy beds, leisurely walks and all the fun that comes with being a much-loved family pet. 💚

But Daisy isn’t just any greyhound… she’s got a cheeky side! 😏 She’s looking for a family who will love her fun-loving personality and enjoy all the little quirks that make greyhounds so wonderfully entertaining.

🏡 Daisy would love a home with a family who understands that life with a greyhound can involve plenty of sofa cuddles, zoomies, funny faces and the occasional bit of mischief!

At just 2 years old, Daisy has so much life and love ahead of her, and she’s ready to start her next adventure with a family who will adore her for exactly who she is. 🥰

📍 We’re all set up and ready to go at the Autumn Show & Horse Trials! 💚🐾

If you’re heading to the South of England Showground in Ardingly, West Sussex, today or tomorrow, come and say hello to the Greyhound Trust team! 👋🏼

We have a stand at the show today and tomorrow, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September, where you can shop for Greyhound Trust goodies and meet some of our greyhounds still waiting for their forever home - Twinkle, Valentine and We**ie.

And our lovely volunteer Sam will also be bringing along her own greyhounds, so there’ll be plenty of friendly faces to meet! 🐾

If you’re at the show, make sure you come and find us and have a chat about greyhounds and life with one of these wonderful dogs. 💚

It was wonderful meeting so many lovely people (and, of course, plenty of gorgeous four-legged friends! 🐕🥰). We really appreciate everyone who stopped by our stall, had a chat, and showed their support.

A Greyhound Trust car with a new purpose! 🚒🐾

We’ve donated our old Greyhound Trust vehicle to West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service, where it will be used to help firefighters train for road traffic collisions and practise vital vehicle rescue techniques, including using the Jaws of Life.

🙏🏼 A huge thank you to Mark from Autocovery for transporting the vehicle and helping us get it where it needs to go.

While the car may have reached the end of its life with Greyhound Trust, it will now play an important role in helping firefighters prepare for real-life emergencies. 💚

We’re very proud to have donated it to such a worthwhile cause. 😊





A legacy gift to Greyhound Trust will give greyhounds, who are following in your footsteps, a bright and happy future for years to come.
