The Bereavement Café, in collaboration with New Addington Pathfinders, presents an in-person monthly gathering where we explore grief experiences and how our changed world impacts on us.

When: Thursday, June 5th 2025
Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Where: The Octagon, New Addington Central Parade, Croydon CR0 0JW

This month’s discussion topic is --
“I’m Still Grieving – Does This Mean I’m Weak?”

This is a question that is too often asked, based on the hurtful societal misconception that being vulnerable and in an emotional state because of grief indicates weakness.

Grief is a life-long and life-changing process which is initiated by all forms of loss. It is a natural, automatic, collection of reactions which have an emotional, physical and psychological basis. This can be quite confusing and destabilizing and it can take grievers some time and a lot of adjustment to reach a point where they feel able to engage fully with life and friends and family.

The Bereavement Café offers the security of open discussions led by a trained Bereavement Counsellor and Group Facilitator, Fiona Reynolds.
Come and share your thoughts and your experiences as we learn from each other about this vitally important life experience!
Reserve your seat via Eventbrite. Link in bio.
