Returning home is not the end of a survivor's journey.

Our recent evaluation of the Beyond Programme explores the factors that help survivors rebuild their lives after return and navigate the challenges they may face along the way.

Drawing on insights from survivors, practitioners and international partners, it deepens our understanding of cross-border return and reintegration journeys while highlighting practical lessons for strengthening support in the future.

Following the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, the humanitarian situation remains incredibly challenging.

As of 21 July, more than 5,000 people have lost their lives and nearly 18,000 people remain without a permanent home. Families continue to face displacement, lost livelihoods, damaged infrastructure and the uncertainty of not knowing the fate of missing loved ones.

The Salvation Army is working with local partners to respond people's practical and emotional needs.

As the Ebola outbreak continues, The Salvation Army is supporting communities across the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda and the Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville) through community awareness, hygiene promotion, and disease prevention efforts. Local corps, officers and volunteers are working alongside healthcare networks to help contain the spread of the virus, protect vulnerable communities, and provide care and comfort to those affected.
