is a programme managed and delivered by Speakers Trust, the UK’s leading public speaking organisation and is supported and funded by the Jack Petchey Foundation. was established in 2006 with a pilot programme of 40 London schools receiving a one-day training workshop in public speaking skills. In subsequent years the training became available to every state school in London and Essex and for most

has become an established and recognised addition to the school curriculum. The programme provides the tools for teenagers of all abilities and from all walks of life to communicate more effectively and to give and receive constructive feedback and affords them multiple opportunities to speak out on issues that are important to them.
