Leik og Sprell er söng- og leiklistarnámskeið sem ferðast vítt og breitt um Ísland á sumrin og nú í fyrsta sinn býðst íslenskum krökkum í London að fá að upplifa sprellið. Við ætlum að halda workshop dag í Jacksons Lane þann 17. apríl, kl. 10:00-14:00, þar sem börnin fá tækifæri til að leika og sprella, læra spuna og syngja saman. Þetta er frábær leið til að efla íslenskukunnáttuna í skapandi umhverfi en kennari námskeiðsins er Bára Lind sem er kennari hjá okkur í Íslenskuskólanum.

Gleðilegt ár! Skráning er opin fyrir vorönn 2025 í Íslenskuskólanum. Börn frá 3ja ára velkomin. Kennsla hefst 12. janúar, kennt er annan hvern sunnudag, 10-12 í Islington.

The Icelandic School in London

We are a group of Icelandic parents living in London passionate about bringing up multilingual children. We decided to start The Icelandic School in London in Spring 2019 after a lecture on bringing up multilingual children for Icelandic parents in London. Autumn 2019 will be our first term, a trial where we will offer classes every other Saturday for 3 to 11 year old children. We will increase number of groups and classes if the first term goes well.

Autumn 2019 classes: 14. September, 28. September, 12. October, 2. November, 16. November, 30. November and 14. December. Location: Montem Primary School, Islington Time: Saturdays, 10 am to 12 pm Fees: £ 15 per session per child (first child), £ 12 per session per sibling

Toddler group is available for children in nursery and reception class, born from 1. September 2014 to 31. August 2016. Primary class is available for children in year 1 to 6, born from 1. September 2008 to 31. August 2014.
