Today at Alrahma, our Grade 8 students proudly sat their first national exam, with 29 students taking part. This is a very special moment as they prepare to begin a new chapter in secondary/high school — an exciting new experience filled with opportunities and growth. We are so proud of each and every one of them and wish them great success in their exams and future journey. You are the future, and we believe in you all!

A huge congratulations to Jamad Abdi for being recognised as a *No More Red Champion* by and 👏🏽🤍

Jamad’s dedication to keeping young people safe goes beyond this recognition. She runs workshops in Islington, helping young people understand how to prevent knife crime and stay safe in difficult situations.

She’s also created safe and positive spaces through football sessions, mental health workshops, arts, and sports for young boys and girls in Islington, giving them the chance to learn, grow, and feel supported in their community.

We’re so proud of Jamad and grateful to , , and for their ongoing support, and for shining a spotlight on the incredible work she does 🤍

Alhamdulillah 🤲🏽

This Ramadan, through the generosity and trust of our community, Galbur Foundation was able to distribute Zakat, sadaqat and Eid gifts to 658 families in Buloburte and surrounding areas, including Jaabole, sabadheere, Xaaji Xoor and Elmi Sadiq.

Your support has brought relief, dignity, and hope to families in need during this blessed month. Every contribution big or small made a real difference in someone’s life.

We took the kids of Galbur to the home of Arsenal F.C., Emirates Stadium, for a truly exciting stadium tour.

From walking through the players’ tunnel to standing pitch-side where legends have played, their smiles said everything.

Today we took the girls on a visit to the cultural house, where they explored Somali heritage. They moved through the exhibits together, listening to the stories behind our traditions and deepening their understanding of our history and culture.
