We are the London Fields Jumble Trail

Join the London Fields Jumble Trail Saturday 8th of June 2019, 11am-3pm!

Set-up a stall, sell unwanted shoes, bric à brac, clothes, bags; have a blast with your neighbours or simply bag a bargain - that’s what this event is all about!

Do all of the above and feel even better by donating some or all of your proceeds - all donations will go towards the Queensbridge Primary School. Do it for the kids!

WHO ARE WE?

We are a bunch of volunteers, parents or not, local to the London Fields area (Hackney E8) who have decided to help our local school (Queensbridge Primary School) by organising a Jumble Trail. This is not a profit making exercise, it is trying to find ways to raise a bit of money so our kids can continue to do nice things at school. Specifically this year, we are raising money to dramatically improve the playground to be greener and less polluted. You can find more information on this http://www.greenqueensbridge.co.uk/

So you will not only be having a fun day meeting your neighbours, but also helping out one of our local schools!

JUMBLE TRAILING?

Jumble Trailing is not a new concept, it’s been done in many areas across London. It’s fun and builds amazing community spirit. So what is it exactly?

The jumble trail concept is to have a huge 'car boot sale' around our streets on one set day. Everybody goes out in front of their houses and sets up a mini 'shop' selling toys, clothes, bags, cakes, music instruments... building community spirit. Everyone is encouraged to either set up a stall or simply walk around the trail that we will be mapping out, meeting locals and buying from their stalls.
