The tram depot set of buildings in Upper Clapton road E5 could be in trouble again. Lea Bridge Ward Labour councillors are supporting a campaign group of businesses on site and local residents, who want the site continuing as it has done. The previous owners decided to sell it at auction. We await a conversation with the new owners in which they reassure us they won’t be demolishing for flats.
