Hackney Laces

We are a community supported and run football club for girls who want to play football and learn new skills, on and off the pitch.

Currently we run teams for youth ages 11-17 and a women’s team. We also have a sister club, Limehouse Laces in Tower Hamlets that has mini laces (U11), U12s and U15s. You don’t need to be good at football – a little enthusiasm is all we’re after.

Join our Supporters Club 💫

Laces is 15! To celebrate this milestone, we’re relaunching the Laces Supporters Club with something special.

Together with AFTA Studios — a women-founded and led creative studio — we’ve created a limited edition 15th anniversary print celebrating the five clubs that make Laces what it is today: Manchester, Leeds, South London, Hackney and Limehouse.

Each print is signed, numbered, and exclusively available to our supporters. It’s a one-time edition created to celebrate 15 years of community, friendship and football.

When you join the Laces Supporters Club, you become one of our FLAPS — our Friends, Lovers, Animals, Partners and Supporters (Yes, really). You’re joining the community of people who believe football should be a place where everyone belongs.

Your support helps us continue creating opportunities for girls, women and non-binary people in football, and in life.

As a Supporter, in addition to receiving your exclusive anniversary print and stickers from AFTA, you’ll enjoy members-only discounts, and know you’re helping write the next chapter of the Laces story.
