We're excited to start collaborating with upCYCLE LDN to deliver our basics of bike maintenance workshops at their Brixton hub 🚲

This session is perfect for beginners, come and learn the essentials to looking after your bike in a relaxed and friendly class.

We'll be covering
🌺 Cleaning your bike
🌺 Tightening bolts
🌺 Removing wheels
🌺 Puncture repair
🌺 Brake adjustments

Today's the day!
The workshop is open, we're popping up at 241 Well St for the foreseeable in order to get back to offering services and DIY workshop.

Come on down five days a week from 11am to 7pm 🔧

We'll also be offering classes again, details coming in the next post 👀 but if you want to book some 1: 1 time with our mechanics, send us a DM!

From the bottom of our hearts 💛

This one is for Jenni — our fairy godmother — for trusting us with the London Bike Kitchen workshop in Hoxton back in April and giving Broad Bikez our very first permanent home. Because of you, we got to experience a truly special eight months running a community bike shop for the first time ever, learning, growing, and holding space together.

In that time, we met so many incredible people — friends, collaborators, neighbours — who are now forever part of our Broad Bikez family. The shop may be closing as the whole estate faces demolition (ah yes, the familiar London gentrification story), but the community we built there goes nowhere.

We’re taking a winter pause while we search for our second home, with plans to reopen in spring 🌱
Thank you to every single person who showed up, fixed a bike, shared a story, or simply came by to say hi. This chapter meant everything to us, and we’re so excited for what’s still to come.

Weekend hours staying the same 🌊
DIY workshop is available during opening hours so just drop on by to use it.
