First time at Llansannan Activity Centre?
Parking:
Parking is easy in small groups (4 cars or less) as you can easily manoeuvre in and outside the car park at the centre. If you have more than 4 cars, the best strategy is to reverse slowly into the car park, guided by an appropriate adult.
Additional parking is available in Llansannan village (Opposite the Post Office and behind the public toilets) – around 60 metres away from the building.
Food shopping:
There is a shop in the village – around 80 metres from the building.
Local Supermarkets are around a 20-minute drive away:
Tesco: Abergele – LL22 7AA
Morrisons, Denbigh – LL16 3RQ (Petrol station on site)
Tesco also offer home delivery to Llansannan Activity Centre, Cae Bach, Llansannan, DENBIGH, LL16 5HL.
Local shop, post office and pub prefer cash transactions.
Frequently asked questions:
How do I get to the building without coming down the single-track road?
Coming from North Wales Expressway:
Follow signs for Abergele on the A*5 (AKA North Wales Expressway), At junction 24, take the A547 exit to Abergele/Rhuddlan.
At Faenol interchange take the 2nd exit on to Rhuddlan Road (A547) and continue on this road until turning left onto Chapel Street (A548).
4.8 miles on this road, then turn left on to A*54 and following this road will bring you into Llansannan.
Southbound direction (southern Wales):
Head toward A5 and turn off at Pentrefoelas onto the A543.
Keep on the A543 for 8.1 miles and the turn left and keep on this road for 2.5 miles until you reach the A544 (turning left).
The A*54 will take you directly into Llansannan (its 2.4 miles).
How do I get the keys for the building?
The building has 2 key safes. We will contact you a day or two before your stay (Via WhatsApp or Email), with access details and the latest codes.
I have a large group, will there be enough cutlery, crockery and utensils?
The building has enough of everything, including pots, pans, bowls, plates, glasses, cups and mugs
What cooking and washing up facilities are there?
2 double ovens including electric induction cooker units
Microwave, fridges, freezers, 2 kettles and ample work surfaces.
2 sinks, fed by an under-counter water heater. (We don’t have a dishwasher)
Will I need to bring my own dishcloths/ hand towels?
Yes, please remember to take them home with you at the end of your stay.
What do I need to do before my group leaves the premises?

The building should be left in the same condition as you would like to find it. In particular:
• All worktops and tabletops must be cleaned down.
• No food should be left in the cupboards or fridges/fridge freezer.
• Plates, cutlery, utensils, cups, and glasses should be left clean, dry, and safely stored in the cupboards.
• Fly zapper and bug traps must be switched off at the end of your stay.
• Windows should be closed.
• Floors must be cleaned and dry.
• Toilet and shower areas must be left clean.
• The wood burner should be cleared and cleaned.
• Rubbish must be disposed of in the bins outside the building: the green bin for plastic waste and the orange bin for all other waste.
• If the bins are full, please take excess rubbish home and dispose of it safely. No rubbish should be left inside the building.
• Water heaters in the kitchen and bathroom must be switched off.
• Mattresses should be left upright to allow for airflow.
• There may be a need for you to turn the water on when you arrive or drain the system when you leave to ensure we do not experience water leaks or bursts in colder months - if this applies to your booking full instructions will be provided.
Groups will be billed for any damages caused. Please report accidents and damages as soon as possible, whether or not you were responsible for them. Please take photographs and provide a clear description.

Opening times of local shop/post office/pub:
Red Lion pub - usually open Monday to Sunday.
Monday to Thursday being 4pm to 11.30pm.
Friday and Saturday being 2pm to midnight.
Sunday being 2pm to 11.30pm.
Latest opening hours are displayed on a noticeboard outside the pub entrance.
Post office is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Monday: 2.30pm to 4.30pm
Tuesday: 9.30am to 12.30pm
Thursday: 9.30am to 11.30am
The village store called ‘Siop-Y-Llan’ is open Monday to Sunday.
Monday to Friday: 7am to 6pm
Saturday: 8am to 4pm
