🥫 The essentials that keep meals on the table. 💚

Sometimes it's the everyday items that make the biggest difference.

From pasta, rice and tinned vegetables to sauces, milk and other cupboard essentials, these simple ingredients help individuals and families facing hardship put meals on the table.

At Llanelli Foodbank, we rely on the generosity of our local community to help keep our shelves stocked and provide emergency food parcels to those who need them most.

Could you add an extra item or two to your shopping basket this week?

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference and helps us continue supporting people across Llanelli and the surrounding communities.

💚 Thank you for standing with us and helping make sure no one in our community goes hungry.

The cost of living crisis isn't just affecting people's finances – it's affecting their mental health too.
Worrying about money, food and other essentials can be exhausting and overwhelming.

Many people tell us one of the things that means the most when they visit a food bank is the warm welcome, kindness and understanding they receive.

Nobody should have to face hardship alone 💚

❗We need your help this Harvest!

We urgently need food donations to support people facing hardship in our community.

Harvest is an important time of year for us, as the food you donate ensures we can be there for people during winter.

If you’re able to, please pick up a couple of extra items to donate to us when you’re next at the shops. We often need items like Tinned Meat, UHT Milk and Tinned Fruit.

Thank you. 💚

Today is National Food Bank Day.

We're celebrating the incredible dedication of the staff and volunteers who support people in our local community every day.

Our food bank is here when people need us. But we look forward to a future where nobody does.

Until then, we'll continue providing emergency food and practical support, while speaking out about the changes needed to end the need for food banks.

Today is a chance to recognise the difference food banks make. It's also a reminder that no one should need to turn to one in the first place 💚
