Last weekend our Scouts had the opportunity to attend the All Wales Scout Camp.

This event allows our Scouts to try a wide range of activities in an action packed weekend! The group had a great time and we thank the AWCS team for organising and running the event. A big shout out to our Scout leaders as well, who setup camp and looked after our Scouts over the weekend.

This week is Volunteers Week, a time to celebrate all things volunteering! Our volunteers give so much to our organisation, without them we wouldn’t be able to do what we do each week for our young people.
Thank you to each and every one of you.

They say time flies when you're having fun and we've been having so much fun we have been forgetting to update our page! So here's a quick recap of the year so far.
We all like sweet treats and there have plenty of opportunities from cooking smores on a camp fire to easter egg hunts and pancake making.
We've been on walks though woods, and camping in the Gower.
The Beavers enjoyed a Teddy Bears Picnic event, celebrating 40 years of Beaver and 5 years of Squirrels in Scouting. This year it is the Scouts turn to visit Builth Wells for the All Wales Scout Camp.
Our volunteers have been busy as well, completing Tomahawk training allowing us to run the activity in our sections.
Now the weather has improved we have plenty of exciting outdoor activities planned and hope to give you more regular updates while we still have fun!

We had a great day at this years Teddy Bears Birthday Picnic. A huge thank you to our young leaders who were running our activity base for all the Squirrels and Beavers to enjoy.

Recently, our whole Group visited Pembrey Ski Centre for an evening learning about skiing to earn their Level 1 Snowsport Badge.

It was great to see our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts hit the slope and quickly master the basics of skiing with smiles and laughter. Our young leaders also got involved supporting our young people, sometimes literally by keeping them upright!
