📢 Final reminder: Have your say on Carer’s Allowance
There are just a few days left to make your voice heard.
If you're an unpaid carer and have experience of Carer’s Allowance, the Government wants to hear from you. Whether you receive Carer’s Allowance, balance caring with work or education, or have views on how the system could be improved, your feedback could help shape future support for carers.
⏰ The consultation closes on 18 August 2026
Don't miss this opportunity to share your experiences and help influence future policy.
📝 Take part here: https://www.gov.uk/government/calls-for-evidence/carers-allowance-call-for-evidence
💙 Please share this post so more unpaid carers have the chance to take part before the deadline.

This call for evidence is being administered by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to gather information and views to build on the Department’s existing evidence. What we hear will help shape future thinking about how Carer’s Allowance can be modernised.

Are you an unpaid carer who works as well as cares?
Balancing work and caring responsibilities isn't always easy. From managing appointments and emergencies to finding time for yourself, carers often face challenges that employers may not see.
The Government is seeking views on employment rights for unpaid carers and wants to hear directly from people with lived experience.
By sharing your experiences, you can help shape future workplace support and make a difference for carers across the UK.
🗓️ The consultation closes on 1 September 2026

Do you care for someone?

If you support a family member, friend or neighbour, your voice could help shape the future of adult social care.

The Big Conversation on Care is asking people across England:

“When we are old or disabled, or have a serious illness, who should support us and how?”

You can share your ideas, vote on other people’s suggestions and help make sure carers’ experiences are heard.

Have your say here: https://caseycommission.co.uk/bigconversation/take-part/
