Behind every number is a women or a girl living with fear or abuse or violence.

Let's change the statistics - because violence against women just doesn't add up.

It's unacceptable and far too common. Let's demand equal treatment and cancel out femicide.

🎅With just 72 days until Christmas and 64 days until we hold our Christmas event for survivor families, we're asking our fantastic community to donate gifts to make sure we have enough for everyone. 🎁

Specifically we'd love donations of new:

🛀Pamper gift sets for women and girls
🧦Comfy socks/slippers
💅Hair and make up sets
🏎️🦄Gifts for boys and girls of all ages
✉️Gift vouchers
🛍️Gift bags or wrapping paper

We can arrange collection or you can drop off at our centre at Bridge Chapel, Heath Road, Garston, L19 4XR.

We are here. You are not alone. Please seek support if you are worried.

Today 13th October, changes to prison release arrangements mean a second tranche of prisoners may be released earlier than previously anticipated. While some serious offences are excluded from the scheme, some perpetrators of violence against women and girls, may still be eligible for earlier release.

We know these changes may bring fear, anxiety and uncertainty for victim-survivors who are worried about what this could mean for their safety.

If you’re worried that your abuser may be released, please reach out for support. Specialist services can offer advice, support and safety planning to help you understand your options and plan for your safety.

This campaign is being shared in partnership with RASA, SLDAS, LDAS and The First Step, standing together to ensure survivors know that support is available.

Last week our charity Partners EY Liverpool invited us in to share more background on the charity and the work we are doing in South Liverpool. It was a pleasure to meet the teams and be given that opportunity to thank them personally for their support.
