What are your plans this week? 👀 There are some lovely things happening at Granby Winter Garden, and you’re very welcome to drop by and get involved.
Here’s what’s coming up… 🌱🌱
On Monday, the space is open for relaxed drop-in hours from 2–5PM, perfect for a cup of tea, a chat, or just spending some time in the garden.
Tuesday is a full day in the space. There’s a writing group from 11:00–1:30PM, and during those same hours the space is also open for general drop-ins. ☕️ In the afternoon, the self-led botanical art group runs from 1:30–3PM and is open to anyone, whether you’re experienced or just curious to try. In the evening, yoga with Nu () takes place as usual, followed by Wing It Singers, a relaxed and welcoming singing session where no experience is needed, just a love of sharing music together. 🎶
Wednesday is a quieter day with no scheduled activities in the space.🍄🍂
On Thursday evening, yoga with Nu returns, followed by Scratch Night, where everyone is encouraged to share whatever creative work they’ve been exploring, from music and poetry to magic or anything in between. ✨✨
Friday brings our Participatory ESOL class in the morning and the art group for young people in the evening.
On Saturday we’ll be hosting a potluck event to raise funds for Refugee Action, so feel free to bring a dish and join us in supporting a great cause. 🍀
Sunday begins with morning yoga in the space, followed by drop-in hours afterwards. In the evening, we’ll be hosting an event titled “Italian Referendum: What You Need to Know / Discussion,” offering space to learn, share, and talk together.
There’s something for everyone at Granby Winter Garden, and we hope to see your lovely faces in the space soon!
