Our raft is growing and continuing to help make a difference to our historical work here in Port Sunlight.

We are loving the memories everyone is sharing of their beloved pond/lake/boaty through our "Donate a Duck" digital page and it shows how important this wonderful landmark is to so many people.

If you would like to join the raft and share your memories, please visit our website or click the link in our comments.

⚠️ This Sunday 7 June, BTR Liverpool's Port Sunlight Road Race returns and that means road closures will be in place between 5am–1pm across the village.

All residents have received information through your letterbox with a reminder to move your car from the road and where to park. If you have access needs, please let us know and we will liaise with the organisers and security team to advise on what to do.

If you're planning to visit on Sunday, see the map below for information about where road closures will be and where you can park. Access through the village will be possible via Bolton Road > The Ginnel > Wood Street > exit via Greendale Road to Ellen's Lane (or via versa). Access to Christ Church or Hulme Hall will be possible by car through Bolton Road coming from New Chester Road only. Thank you for your patience and support.

Organised by BTR Liverpool, the Road Race welcomes thousands of runners each year to follow the 5k or 10k route through the village’s leafy streets. This year's edition is generously sponsored by Unilever Port Sunlight.

As we celebrate Volunteers’ Week, we want to say a huge thank you to the incredible people who give their time, energy and passion to Port Sunlight Village Trust 🙏

So far this year, our volunteers have generously contributed over 1,000 hours – and what a difference that makes ✨️

From supporting exhibitions and leading walking tours, to bringing history to life in the Worker's Cottage, helping to develop our archives, and supporting events, learning programmes, landscape work and community activities – our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.

Simply put, we couldn’t care for this special village without them.

Thinking about getting involved? Volunteering is a fantastic way to meet new people, learn new skills and be part of something meaningful.

You can see a few of our current opportunities here: portsunlightvillage.com/volunteering-at-port-sunlight

However there is lots more you could get involved in, from litter picking to advisory groups. Please contact [email protected] or 0151 644 4800.
