We want to share about a wonderful fundraiser that is currently underway for our charity. Yesterday, Bernie Holmes Snr set off on a 100 mile solo walk along the Costa del Sol from Malaga to Gibraltar (10 miles per day for 10 days) raising money for Love, Jasmine.

Bernie has put his absolute heart and soul into preparing for this. Working so hard in raising support, funds and awareness for what he is undertaking, before even heading off to Spain. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting with Bernie a couple of times at our office over the last couple of months and we’ve been so overwhelmed by his passion and enthusiasm for wanting to help our charity raise funds and help us continue our crucial work.

Choosing to start this challenging 100 mile walk on 1st September was particularly meaningful and significant as Bernie is undertaking this in memory of Stanley, marking his 3rd Birthday yesterday. After seeing how beneficial and needed our support has been to Stanley’s family and hearing about our need to raise funds in order to keep our charity running after a recent loss of significant funding, Bernie just wanted to help us.

Our office is back open today after being closed for the last 2 weeks.

There’s lots to catch up on and it’s going to be an extremely busy month for us as a charity.

Just to remind that we’re selling raffle tickets at our office (£5 for a book of 10 tickets) for the Emily Brunnen Memorial Tournament which is taking place later this month (12th - 13th September) with the 50 Raffle Prize Draw being drawn on 13th Sept for which we’re the charity partner for. So all money raised here will be donated to Love, Jasmine to help us continue our crucial work in supporting bereaved parents & families following the loss of a child & those families whose child has received a terminal diagnosis.

Please message us directly if you’d like to buy any raffle tickets from us. We’d love to hear from you and would really appreciate the support❤️

There’s 50 prizes up for grabs with the draw taking place on Sunday 13 September 2026.

As always, the proceeds from the raffle go directly to our Charity Partner, this year, Love, Jasmine.

Tickets are TEN for £5. You can buy them on the weekend of the tournament or in advance by contacting ourselves or the team at Love, Jasmine. Similarly, if you’d like to take some books to sell for us contact either of us.

It’s our main fundraiser for the charity who are in desperate need of financial support as they fight for the future of the fantastic service they provide to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings.

12 whole years of missing you Jasmine. We do everything we do because of you.

The fire that was lit within us on that night continues to burn as no parent or family should outlive their child, watch their child die, bury their child, have to carry on living the rest of their life without their child physically here, then be left without support.

It is not acceptable for a bereaved parent or family to be left to search for what support may possibly be out there for them, then to be passed round to different organisations/charities hoping somewhere can help them. Only to be told they don’t meet the criteria or they’ll have to wait 8 months plus on a waiting list.

So many years have gone by without you and we’d have hoped things would’ve improved since you died with regard to support, understanding & recognition of the needs of bereaved parents & families, but sadly this is not the case.

We will do all we can to continue in your name as bereaved parents & families deserve so much better🖤

Our office is now closed for two weeks as we take a short break.

Last month we were invited to a tour of Ford Halewood Transmissions Ltd by the company's charity committee where we got to find out more about the work that they do and how involved they are in the local community.

We'd like to thank all the staff for their time on the day and also for their very kind donation of £1,500.00 which we are very grateful for.

The Heavy North were absolutely amazing on Saturday for the charity event that was organised on our behalf by Silvermoon

A massive thank you to Laura for organising & everyone that attended and supported Popcat's Music Time Ltd, Garston- Laura Charity Fundraiser Class on 18th July for our charity.

Over £140 was raised on the day and we’re so grateful💜
