It's lovely to see so many people unleashing their creativity and enjoying themselves in the Sumner Art Sessions, such a brilliant project!

Our fabulous free Sumner Art Sessions are back in full swing, thanks to Art Friends Merseyside and Friends of Kirkby Gallery & Prescot Museum.
The group had a short break while we were changing the exhibition over - laying out and installing 346 artworks takes up a lot of room and we couldn't have fitted in the SAS artists at the same time!

With support from the Friends of Kirkby Gallery & Prescot Museum our volunteers, from both the gallery and the Know Your Knowsley digitisation project at the museum, were able to enjoy a wonderful Christmas party with food, drinks and a fun quiz hosted by surprise guest Mr Andrew Weston. Courtesy of the FOKGPM, everyone received a thank-you gift of a leather bound notebook beautifully handcrafted by The Leather Satchel Co. and embellished with the gallery and museum logo. Thanks to everyone for all your hard work and support over the last year.
