Do you love our bonfire procession? Do you belong to a local community group? Have you ever thought about being a part of our procession?

We are looking for any Walking Groups, Floats or Steam Engines to join our bonfire procession on Saturday 24th October 2026.

Very productive torch making session this afternoon. Approx 400 + torches made towards our torchlight parade.

Littlehampton Bonfire Society will be serving tea, coffee and biscuits at St Peter Church and St Paul’s hall in Rustington this Saturday at a local craft fair to raise funds for our event on the 24th October 2026.

🕙 10am - 2:30pm

📍 70-72 The St, Rustington, Littlehampton BN16 3NR

💰 All funds raised by us will go towards funding our Traditional Torchlight Procession with Bonfire and Fireworks!

🦺 Littlehampton Bonfire Society is seeking volunteers to marshal our Traditional Torchlight Procession due to be held on the 24th October 2026🦺

If you are able to help marshal our event, please email our Society Secretary, Lyn Baker with your name, email address and phone number.

Marshall’s will be there to help keep the spectators safe and off the roads while the event is taking place. No marshall’s will be put on road closures or expected to deal with conflict situations as there will be a paid Security Contractor supported by Sussex Police.

Marshall’s will have a front row seat of the procession and you will not miss a single bit of the entertainment.

Any marshall’s that come forward will receive an email from our Commander In Chief late September to mid October with your duties and location points.

🚨 The event cannot take place without the help from our amazing volunteers. *** So far LBS can confirm that is has 31 volunteers out of a required 100 to run this event.

This week marks Volunteers Week and without all our amazing volunteers from committee members, members of the Littlehampton Bonfire Society and to all who volunteer to marshal for us we simply cannot run the event.

We would like to thank everyone who has volunteered over the years, coming together to put on a spectacular event that is enjoyed by thousands.

We also like to thank the volunteers that are still helping us out when need help is needed. You are truly amazing. Thank you!

The Littlehampton Bonfire Society is run by a group of dedicated volunteers who give up their time throughout the whole year to make sure a spectacular event is put on.

We look forward to welcoming you to our event on Saturday 24th October 2026. 😊🎆🎇🔥

Did you know the Littlehampton Bonfire Society is run by a group of dedicated volunteers, with help from our members.

The cost of running the Littlehampton Bonfire Society’s Traditional Torchlight Parade with Bonfire and Fireworks increases each year, this year costing over £35,000!

Our dedicated volunteers and members fundraise every penny throughout the year to meet the financial targets. We also have support by our fantastic sponsors. However we need the help of the general public.

We have our 2026 JustGiving Page up and running. The bonfire society is thankful to everyone who has supported us.

Members of the Littlehampton Bonfire Society would like to thank everyone at Bognor Regis Carnival for hosting a fantastic day. Thank you so much to everyone who came along and said hello!

Our next Stall outing will be on Saturday 27th June at Littlehampton Armed Forces Day.
