NEWS:

I am very excited to have been invited by Libraries NI to take part in BOOK WEEK

I will be at Chichester Library in Belfast at 6:30pm on the 22nd October 2026.

I will be talking about becoming a published author and I will do a reading from Moon Dancing Volume One.

There will then be a Q&A session afterwards.

Looking forward to seeing you there!!!

Hiya,

The wonderful people at Libraries NI have invited me to take part in BOOK WEEK.

WHERE? … Chichester Library ( Belfast).

WHEN? …. 22nd Oct at 6:30pm

I will doing a reading from volume one of my series and then doing a Q & A session about thriller/ fantasy writing and publishing.

My wee sister Fiona McLachlan was home from France for a few days and she wanted to summit Slieve Donard ( highest peak in Northern Ireland).

It had been over 30 years since the last time she had been to the summit and what a day it was 😎😎😎

TBH: had been a couple of years since I had been to the summit as well, but it was worth it.

Being a horsey person, she attracted the wild ponies as well.

Then we went for ice cream 🍨

She is the only person that has read all my work ( so far). I have finished volume five and I have been working on the plot for volume six.

We sat in my favourite coffee shop and I read to her what I had so far. The last chapter was a shock and there are things she did not see coming in the story, which tells me I got it right!

This evening I attended the brilliant Steve Cavanagh ( ) at the Belfast Book Festival

It was excellent, I loved it. He was speaking about his latest book and his next release later in the year.

I took a lot from the Q&A session, this padawan was learning from the master.

Thank you The Cresent Arts Centre for hosting.

When in Nottingham… you have to visit Robin Hood

One of my hobbies is War Hammer ( started three and a half years ago), so a couple of friends and I decided to visit War Hammer World 😎

I love the creativity of the dioramas! There is too much to take in, in one day.. so we decided to do it over two days 😎

Yet.

To those that have allowed me to base a character on them, I thank you.

I am still looking for a publisher and I am working on volume five ( with making notes on the plot of vol six!).

The journey continues 😎😎😎 and I love it
