Louth & District Lions Club ~ are bringing to various establishments in Louth a very important life saving piece of equipment… THE BLEED KIT!

The Daniel Baird Foundation Charity has been set up after Daniel Baird of just 26 years of age was fatally stabbed in the early hours of 8th July 2017, following a night out with friends.

There was no first aid or bleeding control kit available. Dan died shortly after arriving at hospital due to catastrophic bleeding.

Had there been a public accessible bleeding control pack available Dan may still be alive.

Public accessible Bleed Kits located in Public places in Louth will become available not only for anyone within the building but also if an incident was to occur on the street or close by.

A post giving details of these kits situated will be posted later today.

This afternoon in the lovely sunshine, some members of Louth Lions gave their time at Naomi's Garden Conductive Education …. In the coming weeks the development of the old guard room will go to another level towards opening. So it’s very important that the garden should look its best. We are so proud to be able to support and be involved in this amazing project 💙
