Necromunda has officially joined the roster at Crit Happens, and it’s been brilliant seeing games spark up at the club. With a campaign coming soon, we’re looking to build a welcoming group of players, veterans, newcomers, and anyone curious about trying a narrative skirmish game.

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since Crit Happens began. Thank you to everyone who’s rolled dice, run games, volunteered, or simply turned up on a Monday night. You’ve helped build something we’re really proud of.

As we move into year two, our annual membership will be £6 from 1st August. The first year was completely free, but this small fee will help us cover venue hire, invest in new club equipment, and keep growing what we can offer.

Membership also unlocks the usual perks, including reduced session fees, early access to events, and other member benefits.

If you’ve got any questions about membership, just grab a Committee member on Discord or at the club.

Thanks again for being part of Crit Happens. Here’s to another year of great games, questionable dice rolls, and an even bigger community.

We're looking for more RPG System Champions!

Over the past year, tabletop RPGs have become a huge part of Crit Happens game nights. As our community continues to grow, we're looking for a few more volunteers to help coordinate, support and champion our RPG groups.

As a System Champion, you'll help welcome new players, support GMs, encourage new groups to get started, and help shape the future of RPGs at the club. You don't need to be an expert in every system, just someone who's enthusiastic about tabletop roleplaying and wants to help our community thrive.

We're looking for people who are:

Friendly and enjoy meeting new people.
Confident and approachable.
Familiar with at least one TTRPG system, with some GM experience being helpful (but not essential).
Happy to welcome new players to existing games or help get new groups off the ground.
Interested in helping organise RPG groups, game nights and future club events.
