Today is Carer's Rights Day.
Many of the people we support, both adults and children, are acting in a role of unpaid carer to those using drugs or alcohol in their lives. The day is about raising awareness of the rights that unpaid carers can access, helping to get them the recognition and support they need.
Whether it's Carer's Leave, the right to be identified as a carer, flexible working or a carer's assessment - or many other rights - carers shouldn't struggle alone.
