Another fun filled day for all at Benbradagh with a visit from North Coast Alpacas, music by Sound Sessions Stephen McKeever and a fab BBQ from Currans. It was a great day, the atmosphere was heartwarming and everyone had a great day ♥️

Learning Disability Week 2026 – ?

This Learning Disability Week, we join in celebrating the theme ? — a powerful reminder to recognise, value, and listen to people with learning disabilities, ensuring they are seen for who they are, not defined by their disability.

We would like to acknowledge the outstanding staff at Benbradagh Day Centre, whose dedication, compassion, and commitment make a real difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities every day. Through their support, encouragement, and person-centred approach, they help individuals build confidence, develop skills, achieve goals, and participate fully in their communities.

The theme ? encourages us all to look beyond labels and see the talents, aspirations, personalities, and achievements of people with learning disabilities. It challenges us to create a society where everyone is valued, included, and given the opportunity to thrive.

A sincere thank you to all the staff at Benbradagh Day Centre for the incredible work you do and for helping ensure that the people you support are seen, heard, respected, and celebrated.
