Teamwork makes the Round Table dream work.

Turns out, people who join Round Table are a force to be reckoned with. Some bring the ideas, some bring the organisational skills, some just turn up and wing it.

Regardless of roles however, things get done at Round Table.

Events get planned. Communities get supported and a bunch of busy blokes somehow manage to become part of something bigger.

If you're looking to get involved, meet new people, and most definitely have a bit of fun along the way - you'll fit right in.

Some people wear camouflage because they are hiding.

But not all hiding is easy to spot.

Someone can be laughing in the group chat, turning up to work, showing up for their family, and still be struggling behind the scenes.

That is why this week matters.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Awareness Week is a reminder to check in properly. Not just “you alright?” in passing, but the kind of check-in that gives someone space to answer honestly.

No judgement.
No pressure.
No pretending.

Don’t Camo Yourself is about raising money, raising awareness and starting conversations that could genuinely save lives.

If this campaign starts one conversation that would not otherwise have happened, it matters.

You are not alone.
United Against Su***de.

Check in on someone today. And if you are the one hiding it, tell someone you trust.

🚨 £3,000 BY 9PM TOMORROW NIGHT 🚨
And Harriet will shave my beard AND my head live on stage at National AGM.

Yes… the beard.
Yes… the hair.
All of it.

As Area 35 Chairman, I’ve chosen CALM – Campaign Against Living Miserably as my Chairman’s Charity for the year.

This charity means more to me than I can properly put into words, and throughout my year as Chairman, my aim is simple:

To raise money.
To raise awareness.
To start conversations.
And to remind people they are not alone.

So here’s the deal:

If we hit £3,000 in donations on my GoFundMe page by 9pm tomorrow night, my wife Harriet will shave my beard and my head live on stage at National AGM.

And for anyone who can’t be there, it’ll be streamed via the Round Table West Midlands page.

And to make it even better…

🥃 The winning bidder of the Don’t Camo Yourself CALM Glen Moray whisky bottle will get the first cut.

Because my hair will grow back.

But losing someone to su***de never goes away.

That pain stays with families, friends, partners, children, mates and communities forever.

This is part of my Area 35 Chairman’s Charity campaign for CALM — and I’d love the Round Table family to help me make a real impact.

Please donate what you can here:

https://gofund.me/d7f69df08

Let’s get this over the line by 9pm tomorrow night.

For CALM.
For Area 35.
For those struggling.
For those we’ve lost.
For the conversations that might save a life.

The lost hours don’t just happen at night.
They’re the moments in between.
When everything feels heavy.
When you say you’re “fine” — but you’re not.

For the last few years, I’ve walked those hours.

Step by step. Mile by mile.
Not alone — but alongside people who get it.
This year is different.

This coin represents more than a walk.
It represents every conversation that should have happened.
Every moment someone chose to keep going.
Every person who decided not to suffer in silence.
Because too many of us still do.

Don’t camo yourself.
Don’t blend in.
Don’t hide what you’re going through.

Speak. Reach out. Turn up.

I’m proud to be supporting Campaign Against Living Miserably through this year’s Lost Hours Walk and beyond — raising awareness, raising funds, and making sure more people know they’re not alone.

If this resonates with you — support it, share it, or start a conversation.
Because no one should face the lost hours alone.

We did it. 🌙💪
28.8 miles through the night for our 4th annual — raising money and awareness for and remembering those we’ve lost too soon.

Over the years, we’ve raised more than £20,000 with gift aid, walked hundreds of miles, and built something truly special between Round Table, Ladies Circle, 41 Club & Tangent.

To everyone who walked, supported, or donated — thank you. You’re part of this story. 💙

We'd like to say a massive thank you to The Turnpike in Boley Park for their incredible generosity, fueling us with bacon sarnies, sugary drinks, and some much-needed hot tea and coffee.

We've been joined by two more of our Lichfield Round Table members, and we're all set for that final push to the National Memorial Arboretum!
