Lichfield Lions have been very busy with the build up to 🎄Christmas .Helping Santa at Dobbies Garden Centre with all the children and surprisingly the 🐕 dogs who came to visit santa too 🎅 🧑‍🎄
Also Helping with Elaine Hutchings with the Toy appeal who is based here in Lichfield at the old Friary shoe shop .Any donations of new toys will be gratefully recieved thankyou.We will be helping wade Street church Christmas day providing a meal and entertainment for many people to save them being alone at Christmas .

Lichfield Lions Club Celebrated their 53rd Anniversary Charter at the Whittington Heath Golf Club on Saturday!
We welcomed
Our Lions District Governor Ian Francis,our friends from Gartmore Riding school and Elaine Hutchings .It was great you could join us .
We would like to say a big Thank you to All! the Staff At The Golf Club for making us feel so welcome,for their Hospitality,and ofcourse the delicious meal .
Also Thank you ro Everyone for all the work they put into this event to make it a lovely evening enjoyed by all who attended.

One of Lions International main projects is to support youth,so when Stanley a year 10 student asked for ideas to help fund his humanitarian trip to Borneo on 2027 he only had to ask once !
Lions Moto is "We Serve"and this is exactly what Stanley wants to do to raise money to pay for the visit.
So if you see him in his Camp International t-shirt or a Lions Tabard Please support our young cub!

On Thursday evening Lichfield Lions were very busy volunteering at The Cathedral assisting people to there seats for the G4 concert
We helped collect donations for The Missing Persons Charity .
Wonderful atmosphere with over 800 people who attended.

We are collecting blankets for Ukrainian children who have fled war zones and are now feeling the cold in make-shift centres. If you have any spare blankets, either call me on 07948794982 and I will collect them from you or, better still, drop them off at the old Friary Shoe Shop, in the Lichfield Precinct any Friday, Saturday or Sunday up until the weekend before Christmas.
