Some of our ladies attended the WI Art and Crafts day in Uckfield, an event which was extremely well organised. We were entertained by ESI - the company that makes all the Strictly Come Dancing costumes. They brought along some of the dresses formerly worn by celebrities on the show which were modelled by ladies from the WI. We learned how the costumes are meticulously made and the skill that goes into designing and making them. A fascinating day.

Our WI ladies were very happy to support this year's Chailey Bonfire's St George's Day fete by providing sandwiches, cakes, teas, coffees and cold drinks. Beautiful weather made for a very happy day.
