Welcome to St Vincent's Shops Lewes Road, Brighton, we are a charity shop supporting the work of the St Vincent's de Paul Society (also known as SVP) a charity which aims to tackle poverty, isolation and social injustice in all its forms. We one of two SVP charity shops in the local area, our sister shop is situated at Portland Rd. We also have a Community Support Centre in Brighton; Tower House.

What beautiful words we’ve seen from all of our wonderful volunteers this Volunteer Week! As we come to the last day, Ursula (Manager) and Halle, Shana and Cara (Assistant Manager’s) would all like to voice our immense appreciation and pride for everything that you all do. John has been volunteering with us for 18 years!!! He is a true gentleman and invaluable to our St Vincent’s family. He doesn’t like photos but he had this to say; “ I first volunteered around 18 years ago. I got involved to give something back to the community. Over the that time i have enjoyed working with some fantastic people and enjoyed every minute. More recently following a period of not working due to Long Covid the charity and shop have supported me in returning to work allowing me to build up my hours and helped immensely with my mental health.
