Many of you asked about helping the ponies and details could not be shared on who rescued the ponies and stepped in.

We have been made aware of the below and can now share with you. If you would like to donate then please do.

These ponies were rescued with the consent and knowledge of the RSPCA and police.
They are now doing really well. It takes a special person to organise this.

This beautiful mare and foal have now been cleared by vet to come out of isolation and have had a careful introduction to the lush grass.
It’s simply amazing to see them doing so well!

We do apologies for this post but it is important this stops.

We have just received this message from someone who follows this page.

As you can see the awful behaviour continues from individuals only looking out for themselves. Once again this page was set up purely to save the ponies.

Firstly, if money was truly being donated to a charity then why not mention it in your original video?

Secondly, whilst we have not asked for donations, in fact wrote to say no donations would now be accepted due to the grief from some.
We would like to reach out and suggest that perhaps she makes a donation to an animal charity from all of the money she makes from her other reels.

Enough is enough!

Sadly, the awful side of people has come out in the past 24 hours.

This page was set up to raise awareness for the ponies that were in an awful state, to help raise awareness for them all to be rescued.

The page continued so that people could be updated and the majority have been very kind and appreciative.

We’ve had to be very careful of giving away details that could jepordise the case or where the ponies have been removed to.

Yes, profiles have been blocked and a ‘charity’ that was ‘signed’ over some ponies think it’s OK to share this page to fund raise for their own benefit only and for not all of all ponies.

Yet some think it’s OK to post statements that are not correct, stalk people not linked to this page and generally hurl abuse.

We WILL NOT be collecting donations and sharing amongst those who have been rescued. This page has been accused of many things by those only looking after themselves.

What we will be doing is handing over to the police information of those people who lied for their own benefit and PR.

It’s not OK to think you can ‘take back’ and collect a pony without involving the police and RSPCA. Why would any ponies be handed over without involving the authorities?

It’s not OK to break into a field during the night, feed the ponies food, to which two had colic issues and then post the whole thing to your followers on Tick Tock in order to gain money.

It’s also not OK to use pictures and videos for your own publicity without gaining permission from those people who own them - all of which are on this group and have been the people who have actually saved these ponies and have worked damn bloody hard from the start and will be giving evidence when this does go to court.
Names have not been given for obvious reasons.

The awareness of this page has been great and we thank you all for that but sadly the down side of social media has brought to the surface some awful individuals!

At the end of the day all we care about is the ponies who have been saved.

Some of the ponies have been seen by their local vet today.

They are covered in lice, require worming, their teeth are in desperate need of doing and their feet need a good trim.

Here is one of them - as you can see a very happy face.

EDIT - A few more pics have now been added to show a number of the ponies.

Many asking if you can donate to their care. Later this week we will set up a page to donate, it will then be shared to the ponies.

Can we please ask that people do not direct message others spreading nasty rumours without knowing the full facts.

A mare and foal were removed last week as part of the RSPCA rescue. They are both doing well yet the poor people who assisted are being accused of stealing them. This is not accurate or correct.

5 ponies (including a foal) were ‘handed’ over to a dog/cat/animal rescue charity by the owner. We understand that they are receiving the appropriate help from equine experts.

Secondly, ONLY the RSPCA and Police are involved in the removal and rehoming of the ponies. Not any society or stud book. Again those who are linked to stud books cannot claim ‘there is no need to involve the RSPCA and police’ when there is a clear process to follow.

Abusive messages to this page have all been saved and individuals names have been passed onto the authorities.

Enforce Penalties for Horse Abusers

I am sorry that we have not been able to provide an update until now.
This page over the past few days has had hundreds of messages of help, which was so much appreciated. On many levels our hands were tied.

We are sorry that we have not been able to reply to messages.

Very sadly, a few people felt the need to be abusive which left those helping with the page and rescue very upset and stressed.

We can now confirm that all ponies have been removed from the area - thank goodness.

All ponies, with the exception of the three that were stolen during the night are in the care of either charities or individuals approved by the RSPCA.

We will be posting further updates and information in the next 24 hours.

The main thing now is that all ponies receive the care that they need and the RSPCA move forward with what they now have to do.

Please can we ask that the names of anyone involved are not mentioned on this page. We do not want to jeopardise the legal case.

*Update*
Lots of positive progress today - many ponies have been removed from the field today & all expected to recover 🙏
There is still work to be done - more horses will be collected.
But we recommend for everyone to stay away from the field. This needs to be done in the correct way to insure the best possible outcome for all.
