Helping raise funds through Maddies forever loved fund for The Bodie Hodges Foundation has given me a reason to keep going whilst keeping Maddie with me ❤️
In memory of Maddie began on 22/05/2025

since then we have raised £11917 ❤️

I received this email and wanted to share with you all … This Charity is an amazing life line to so many bereaved families that have lost a child , and without their on going support I don’t know how we would have gotten through the past 22 months

Forever Loved Fund - thank you for your ongoing support in memory of Maddie!🐴

Hi Jackie,

I wanted to get in touch to say thank you for your ongoing support through Maddie's Forever Loved Fund. It means so much to us and is helping ensure that more families bereaved of a child can access support when they need it most.
So far this year you have helped to support the following:

💖173 individuals are currently accessing our support.
💖 61 families have received a Bodie’s Treasured Memory Bag, reaching families far beyond Leicestershire, including Northern Ireland, Glasgow and Southampton.
💖 914 1-1 counselling sessions have been provided to bereaved parents, children and young people.
💖 15 dads are building connections and sharing experiences through our Chips and a Chat peer support group.
💖 25 bereaved mums are finding support, friendship and creative outlets through at our Creative Grief Workshop,
💖 10 grandparents receive monthly peer support from others who understand.
💖 13 older siblings are connecting with peers at our Together Project.
💖 9 younger siblings are supported through Together Project Juniors, helping them express their feelings meet others.

your sisters Hollie,Katie and Libby along with Liam and your nephews Alfie Freddie Lenny and Frank plus Reggie and Dottie who you never got to meet , we remembered all the happy times and laughed about the memories , I know you were with us and will always be …

Proud to say Im A TCS London Marathon Finisher !! I know you were with me Maddie and I know you were possibly laughing at me questioning my choices and decisions,
there wasnt much jeffing, but plenty of Effing 🙄

As alot of you are aware , I will be taking part in the London TCS London Marathon on the 26th April raising funds In memory of my daughter Maddie for The Bodie Hodges Foundation… This Charity supports families bereaved of a child and is amazing in what they do , they provide 1-1 counselling for parents and siblings plus a dads group “chips and Chats” a mums group “Creative Grief” and sibling groups “The Together Project”
On Monday 30th March they took a group of heartbroken families to Edale YHA activity centre in the Peak district … this allowed all the siblings to feel normal to be among others that are grieving , plus they provided activities including
Grate stacking, Archery , Abseiling, orienting , treasure hunts, etc
the kids all loved it and the parents even had a go !!!
every penny that is raised goes towards helping so many people through the most heartbreaking time that no one should ever go through
