A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Tesco Hamilton, Leicester for your continued generosity and ongoing support of Midland Langar Seva Society.

Your regular donations of essential food items help us provide freshly cooked meals to people experiencing homelessness and those facing hardship across our community. Your kindness and commitment make a real difference to the lives of so many.

Earlier this month, the Indian Summer event was hosted at the Head Office of Market Harborough Building Society, where we were proud to share the work of MLSS Leicester and raise awareness of our mission to support the community.

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity, support and funds raised through this event. Every contribution helps us continue providing meals, support and hope to those who need it most.

🏍️ One Ride. One Purpose. One Community.🧡

Yesterday, we were proud to welcome Sikh Motorcycle Club UK to Midland Langar Seva Society Leicester as part of a special charity ride supporting the Lord Mayor of Leicester’s Chosen Charities.

From our dedicated volunteers preparing behind the scenes to the riders setting off on their journey, today was a fantastic example of what can be achieved when communities come together to serve others.

A huge thank you to every rider, volunteer and supporter for making today so memorable. Together, we’re raising awareness, building stronger communities and continuing our mission of Serving Humanity. 🧡

🏍️ *Charity Motorcycle Ride – Supporting the Lord Mayor of Leicester’s Chosen Charities* 🧡

This Sunday, 12th July, the Sikh Motorcycle Club UK will be hosting a Charity Motorcycle Ride in support of the Lord Mayor of Leicester’s Chosen Charities – Midland Langar Seva Society and Leicester Hospitals Charity.

Around 10–15 motorcycles will travel across the Midlands, visiting a number of locations to raise awareness of both charities, promote Turban Awareness, engage with local communities, and encourage donations throughout the Lord Mayor’s Charity Year.

The entire ride will be professionally filmed and shared across social media to help spread awareness and support.

📍 Ride Route • Gurdwara Sahib Leicester (Hamilton) – Departure: 9:00am (Please arrive by 8:45am to give the riders a great send-off.) • Leicester General Hospital • Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha, Soho Road, Birmingham • Guru Nanak Gurdwara, Smethwick • Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara, Wolverhampton • Return to Leicester for our Sunday evening Seva.

How you can support: 🏍️ Join us at Gurdwara Sahib Leicester at 8:45am to give the riders a warm send-off. 🏍️ If you own a motorcycle and would like to join part or all of the ride, please get in touch. 🧡 If you’re unable to ride, you can still support the appeal by donating using the QR code on the poster or by sharing this post with your family and friends.

Together, let’s raise awareness and support for the Lord Mayor of Leicester’s Chosen Charities 2026–2027.
