History

Trans4m is a Community Interest Company (CIC) which was created in 2013 following the closure of a well known and reputable large social enterprise in the East Midlands.

A group of former managers were dedicated to continue with the delivery of essential training and support services to vulnerable and socially disadvantaged young people. So upon the closure of Stride they quickly secured premises (formerly the Stride canteen, salon and brickwork buildings) and with the support of Connexions and other local agencies voluntarily continued to offer the services immediately so as to minimise disruption to the young people, therefore reducing the risk of the individuals becoming disengaged and becoming NEET, (Not In Education, Employment and Training).

This business plan has been written to evidence and plan for the continuation of the training and services that are critical during times of a struggling economy for the people of Leicester.
