📣 Important update for parents in Leicestershire
Booking FREE Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) sessions is getting easier!
From summer 2026, we’ll no longer be using voucher codes.
Instead, all HAF places will be booked online through a new system called EEQU. There are no codes to remember and you can book sessions quickly on your phone, tablet or computer.
Your account is created automatically when you book, with clear confirmations and reminders to help you manage your child’s sessions.

This was used today for a healthy vs unhealthy relationships 1:1 youth work intervention session with a young person to help raise awareness around safe, respectful and positive relationships. 💚🚩

It’s so important that young people understand:
✅ What healthy relationships look like
✅ The warning signs of unhealthy behaviour
✅ Their right to feel safe, respected and listened to
✅ That they should never feel pressured, controlled or unsafe

At the heart of youth work is creating safe spaces for honest conversations, support and empowerment. Every young person deserves relationships that make them feel valued, happy and secure.

A big congratulations is in order for our Sports and Coaching student, Rhianna Reid, who was recently named Lord-Lieutenant’s Young Person of the Year!

At just 18, Rhianna’s compassion, resilience, and dedication to supporting young carers - all whilst studying, working, learning to drive, and caring for her own family - is nothing short of inspiring.

Her commitment to making a difference in the community earned her not only the top award, but also the Young Volunteer Award, marking her as a true role model for Leicester and Leicestershire.
