Thank you, Ben and Louise, for a wonderful recital yesterday afternoon.

Please note that there will be no recital next Monday (25 May). We will resume on Monday 1 June, when Mark Brafield will perform for us.

His programme will include:

• Introduction et Variations sur le nom de Cavaillé-Coll — Jean-Pierre Griveau (b. 1968)
• Nocturne — Germaine Tailleferre (1892–1983)
• Ricercare a 6, from Musikalisches Opfer, BWV 1079 — J. S. Bach (1685–1750)
• Méditation sur le Salve Regina — Léonce de Saint-Martin (1886–1954)
• Improvisation sur le Te Deum (transcribed by Maurice Duruflé / Rupert Gough) — Charles Tournemire (1870–1939)

We are delighted to launch the Leeds International Organ Festival’s Complete Bach Series, beginning on Sunday 1st February at 4pm. This landmark series celebrates the complete organ works of J. S. Bach, performed by Artistic Director Benjamin Newlove in the magnificent surroundings of Leeds Cathedral.
