This week is Carers Week (9-15 June). Our members have been carers and cared-for and we know how tough it can be. Sending our love to carers everywhere❤️
One of the joys of our work is helping carers to find a song that can be their support and companion through their day.
If you know a carer who might benefit from what we do please point them in our direction .

It's been a while so... a few words about our lovely book : Unlocking the Power of Song: A Companion for Challenging Times .

A beautiful gift for anyone in these uncertain times (including a gift to yourself!) , it’s a book to treasure.

Loving crafted over many years, Unlocking the Power of Song is a gentle and kindly guide to Jill’s unique approach to song.

Alongside the narrative of how Jill’s discoveries – and some of her songs – came into being, the book contains contributions from many others who have benefitted from this extraordinary approach.

Featuring 28 songs, the book doesn't require any musical training or expertise. You don't have to be able to read music and you don't even have to sing aloud!

Here's some words from someone who has spent some time with Unlocking the Power of Song: "It's an amazing book. Every time I pick it up it falls open at a page that speaks to me. The song [No. 10] has come to me every day through the week. It's a safe haven, to rest in. I feel more open to new ways of being."

Venue: Wold Close (HU15)* (the same lovely venue as our recent new year retreat)

Giving Voice online and in person events April May 2025 -

Spring greetings! In the midst of these challenging times, here in the UK we are finding energy for renewal, growth and creativity in the warmer, longer days, colourful spring blossom and flowers.

It's Earth Hour this Saturday 22 March 8.30pm (in the UK), the annual campaign from WWF to draw attention to the climate emergency. We'll be joining people all over the world in turning our non-essential lights off for 60 minutes- a small but symbolic way for us all to share in the huge undertaking we have in the transition to a more sustainable relationship with our planet .
And , a few weeks later we're holding a special in person event about "hope" on Earth Day, Tuesday April 22nd(Easter Tuesday)
