After a couple of weeks off the field, the 2nd of August we are back.

We take another short trip to the home of Pontefract Collieries FC to take on MND Awareness fc.
This isn't just a game—it's a chance to unite as a community, support one another, and show that together we are stronger. Every conversation, every share, and every bit of support helps make a difference.

A brilliant afternoon with two teams coming together for something far bigger than football. The lads put on a great game, with Mate United running out 5–3 winners, but today's result was always secondary to the message behind it.

A massive thank you to Mush United for getting involved and to everyone who came down to support, donate and cheer the teams on. Days like yesterday show just how powerful football can be in bringing people together and raising awareness for men's mental health. Let's keep looking out for one another, keep the conversations going, and remember that no one has to face things alone.

This Saturday, MATE United FC take on Mush United at Staveley MWFC.

This is more than just 90 minutes of football—it's about coming together as a community, raising awareness, breaking the stigma, and reminding every man that it's okay to talk.

Bring your family and friends, make some noise from the sidelines, and help us support an incredible cause. Every donation, every cheer, and every person there makes a difference.

As we do here at Mate United, we have a couple of star players playing in this 1.

A fantastic afternoon of football yesterday as we took on Rochdale M.V.F in support of men's mental health.

The lads put in a brilliant performance, running out deserved 11-2 winners, but the result was only part of the story. The real victory was bringing people together, raising awareness, and showing that it's okay to talk.

A huge thank you to Rochdale M.V.F for the game, the support, and for helping shine a light on such an important cause. Together, we continue to break the stigma around men's mental health—one match at a time. 💛🖤⚽

This Sunday, 28th June, Mate United FC return to action as they take on Rochdale MvF at Pontefract Collieries Stadium in what promises to be a fantastic day of football and community spirit.

With both teams coming together for a great cause, supporters can expect a competitive match, plenty of entertainment, and an opportunity to help raise awareness that mental health matters.

We have a star player on show in this fixture. Jay Kontzle aka Billy from Emmerdale will be pulling on the famous Mate United shirt once again.
