Some quality pictures from Jenny D Cooper Photography capturing our fun day.
Again a massive thank you to everyone who supported us on the day to make it a good 1. The day raised around £1100 which is amazing and obviously for a great cause. Would like to thank Stuart Thorogood of Andys Man Club for helping plan the day.

Would like to say a thank you to Floppy Dogs and Leodis Drainage Solutions Ltd for being the main sponsors of the event.

Well 2026 fun day was an absolute blast. Thank you to all the teams what took part in our first go at doing it in a football tournament style fun day. Thank you to all the stalls and vendors what came, thank you to all the star players who represented both us and AMC but more importantly..... thank you everyone who came and supported the day and the cause. We can only put together the day but you lot are what make it. Adults smiling and laughing (some boozing 🤭) kids running round laughing and playing, it was great to see. Lets see what 2027 brings 💛🖤 when we have a final total of money raised, we will let everyone know.

Once we get the pictures back from our photographers aswell... we will share them but for now, the star players of today holding our banner 😀

📣 MATCH RESULT 📣

Mate United - 6
MND Awareness - 2

Another brilliant result for us. We didnt start off too bad but we didnt take our chances early on, MND had 2 chances and scored them both. Quick water break seen us make a couple of changes and position swaps which proved the right decision. We pulled 1 back through our captain David, when he broke through and lobbed the keeper. Then up stepped Nathan with 2 screamers from outside the box. After that we comfortably controlled the game, scoring a few more through Will and Sam, then an unfortunate own goal made it 6

Great performances from our star players
Jay Kontzle
Kav

A great game played in the right way from both teams. We thank Pontefract Collieries FC for hosting and MND Awareness sorting this fixture.
