We had a very quiet day today with a variety of items brought in. We managed to fix this guitar case that needed a strap reattaching.

We’re seeking menders who can join us for our week Mend It In Public Day on Sat 25 April, 11am-3pm. A good variety of items fixed today. We also diagnosed several items which may be fixed next month? Unfortunately we also had some 'unable to fix' items but we tried our best.

🙋‍♀️ We're looking to recruit some new volunteers!

📅 We are running an induction session for people interested in volunteering with us on Wednesday 11th February 6pm - 7.30pm.

☕️🍪There will be hot drinks and snacks provided!

🔧 🚲 The Pedallers’ Arms is a community workshop where people can come and access the tools and support needed to repair their bike. We’ve existed for 15 years, running three sessions a week in our workshop in Mabgate Green.

❤️ We are looking for new volunteers to join the team (of volunteers - Pedallers' Arms is entirely volunteer-run!) and support more people to fix their bikes! You don’t need to be an expert in bike maintenance. We all learn together and try to create a culture of skill-sharing and support, asking others for help when it gets beyond your experience 👍.

If you’re new to bike stuff, you are not likely to become an expert mechanic in a few weeks, but you’ll gradually learn, and help loads of people along the way.
