The official artists print for the 2026 Durham Miners Gala - Jeremy Deller & Ed hall
>> Buy now and support the Gala: https://buildingculture.myshopify.com/

Each year Durham Miners Gala works with Building Culture CIC to develop a limited edition art print in support of the Gala. Art and creativity have always been an intrinsic part of these cultures - from banner making to protest art, brass bands to the Pitmen Painters - and this new tradition offers a space for artists to respond to the ephemera and spirit of mining heritage.

Responding to the message 'The Past We Inherit, The Future We Build' artist Jeremy Deller and renowned banner maker Ed Hall have made a series of banners for the Gala. One was specifically made as artwork for this A2 collectable print and has been beautifully converted into a collectible, limited edition print.

This is a time-limited edition: the final edition size will be determined by orders placed by 12 noon on Monday 13 July - no more will be printed after that date. All profits go directly to support the Gala.
Get yours here: https://buildingculture.myshopify.com/

>> Prints can also be ordered on the day at the Durham Miners Gala - come and find us at the official merch stall where you will also find pin badges, t-shirts and other merch related to this years design.

Leeds Young Workers’ Patrol
Saturday 27 June | Leeds

The TUC North East, Yorkshire and Humber Young Workers’ Patrol is coming to Leeds on Saturday 27 June and we want you to be part of it.

The patrol is a hands on project where young trade unionists visit workplaces to talk directly with young workers about their jobs, pay, rights and conditions. It’s all about listening, learning and taking action together to make work fairer and safer.

This is open to young trade union members in the North East Yorkshire and Humber region. No experience needed, just enthusiasm and a commitment to equality at work.
