The event is open to everyone, whether you work in dance, are interested in dance, creativity and Parkinson’s, are part of our work already or just want to support what we do.

We’ll also be launching our brand new toolkit to support others working with older artists and artists with Parkinson’s.

Today the team spent quality time with Dr Mel Brierley delving into the mentoring skills that ground our current work — deep listening, thoughtful questioning, refining our practice, and plenty of tea and biscuits.

Ascendance is excited to announce an afternoon of dance, film and music celebrating the creativity of our trainee choreographers and bringing people together to share in the joy of moving and creating.
